Since 2018, The Barrett & Comeau Group has partnered with Household Goods, a non-profit, Acton based organization that provides donated furniture and household items from residents in our communities and then distributes them to those in need. Everything from gently used tables and chairs, couches, beds and linens to kitchenware and towels are dispersed free of charge to Massachusetts residents who lack the resources to purchase them on their own. Since 1990, Household Goods has furnished 47,000 homes with over 700,000 items!
This Spring, we are hosting our annual ’Drop and Drive’ for Household Goods and we would love your help. Between Friday March 25th and Monday April 4th, we will be collecting donations at our Concord Center office at 33 Walden Street. Especially needed this year are kitchen items, beds and bed linens. These items can be dropped at our Concord office between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., or by appointment by calling: 1-617-952-3764.

Please help us help others. Cleaning out your house whether you are moving, getting ready to sell or simply doing your annual spring house cleaning is the perfect time to put aside gently used items you no longer need. These items can also be brought throughout the year to 530 Main Street, Acton on donor drop off days: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
